Time for another confession. I love bags, purses, baskets... basically anything you can store or carry stuff in. And this pattern is a fabulous foundation for all of those options.
This first attempt, I followed the pattern as written, stopping just shy of the drawstring row (because I was running out of yarn), and I just love how it came out. It's a great size with a nice long strap, and I can see myself using it for a lot of different purposes.
Here's the fun part. I just added a bunch of super bulky cotton yarn to my yarn stash, and I plan to use some of it to do this pattern again and make a basket. What do you guys think?
Pattern: Boho Market Bag Free Crochet Pattern
Designer: Tonya of “Nana’s Crafty Home”
Yarn: Caron Cotton Cakes
Time: 4.5 hrs
Just for fun, here's a photo of what the bottom of the bag looks like. I know it looks intimidating, but don't be discouraged; it's super simple! I'm working on a quick and dirty guide to help you get started on your own circle projects. Check back later this month for the full post! :)
